What Creighton is Doing in November

I’ve got a plan for November, and I can’t wait to get started.

Way back in the mists of time (2012), I designed the 1st edition Pathfinder module Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands—one of Raging Swan Press’s most popular adventures. Recently, I’ve fielded several requests for an updated version of the adventure, and in particular a 5e-compatible version.

Couple this with the fact my campaign is currently using the 5e ruleset and the time seems ripe for a revision and expansion of the Shadowed Keep!

That’s a massive undertaking. Thus, I’ve been working hard for the last six weeks to clear a gap in my schedule to enable me to dive back into the Shadowed Keep. The tyranny of Raging Swan Press’s aggressive release schedule and the boring minutia of running a company normally consume a decent amount of my work time. But now, I am ahead of the schedule and can devote much of November to revising, updating and expanding the Shadowed Keep.

I can’t wait!

You’ll be shocked to know, I’ve been thinking about this for sometime and I’ve already got a rough plan. However, I’m curious to know what you think would make the Shadowed Keep better. Let me know, in the comments below!

About Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands

Bandits lurk in the crumbling old castle of a long-dead border lord hidden deep in the woods. Their raids draw a band of neophyte heroes to the ruins where they discover fouler, more odious dangers dwell under the derelict keep.

Shadowed Keep on the Borderlands is a richly detailed adventure for 1st-level characters. The adventure includes everything a GM needs to run many exciting gaming sessions with minimal preparation. Characters surviving the ruin’s terrors will likely be 4th-level by the end of the adventure.
